Description
Various expenses incurred in connection with IFUW Triennial Conference held in Philadelphia in 1971, including travel for 12 Council members and one national president to attend the Conference and a pre-Conference seminar on “Communications between Cultures” and simultaneous translation equipment and interpreters. The latter expense (translation equipment and interpreters) was covered by a contribution from the Samuel S. Fels Fund. Other gifts were received to help defray expenses.

The women grantees came from Ceylon, Egypt, India, Israel, Japan, Korea, Lebanon, Nigeria, Pakistan, Spain, and Uganda.
